Pasta Product Information


Mrs. Glee's products are GFCO certified gluten free and

Pasta & Noodles Ingredients:

Whole navy bean flour, non-GMO yellow corn flour, resistant corn starch (dietary fiber), monoglyceride, natural flavoring

Stove Top Preparation:          

 

1. Bring 2 cups of water, per serving, to a rolling boil.

 

2. Add the proper amount of pasta and turn your heat down to medium and  immediately start your timer.  Do not wait for it to start boiling again.

 

3. The pasta should not be in the water any longer than 2 to 3 minutes (elbows and noodles) and 5 minutes (rigatoni), totally.  CAUTION: the HOTTER the water, the FASTER the pasta re-hydrates.  If you don't turn down the heat on the water when the pasta is put in, it WILL cook up faster.  The Hotter the Faster!

 

4. Immediately drain and gently rinse in cold water to stop the cooking process.

 

5. Add oils or sauces and serve.

 

Microwave Mrs. Glee's Pasta:

 

1. Put ½ cup pasta and half of a Full Flavor packet (37.5 g) in a microwaveable bowl. 

2. Add 1 cup of water. 

3. Microwave at 50% power for 3 minutes. 

4. Let stand in microwave for additional 2 minutes while sauce thickens and serve. 

NOTE: A Vegetarian Mushroom Sauce and Alfredo Sauce mixes.

 

Beef Lasagna:

 

1. Brown 1 lb of lean ground beef in a 10-inch skillet and drain.

2. Stir in 3 cups of water and sauce mix.  If using a liquid sauce you can reduce the water.

3.Heat to a boil, stirring occasionally, then stir in dry pasta.

4. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes stirring occasional until pasta is tender.

5. Remove from heat, uncover and cool for 3 minutes.  Sauce will thicken as it stands.

NOTE:  Mrs. Glee's noodles and a dry powder sauce were used.
